Le site du Sébeillon.

360 apart­ments on a former Swiss Railways and Post site. A del­ic­ate envir­on­ment in an ​‘in-between’ of city and out­skirt, con­tam­in­ated with drugs and pros­ti­tu­tion in the end­ing course of the river Flon. Four court­yard houses and a long bar are the ele­ments to cre­ate a intrins­ic dense urb­an iden­tity. The sup­port­ing facades of all the build­ings are made out of pre­fab­ric­ated con­crete pieces with inlays of nat­ur­al stone from Splügen, nour­ish­ing the site with some clas­sic­al eleg­ance, to counter the notori­ous harsh­ness of the ​‘milieu’.
